Chapter 2

Last time: We got this party started with lots of kids and we left off with a full house.

Household: Vanilla Cream (dad/vampire); Sapphire (dad/genie/witch); Baako (boy #1/bad apple/vampire/child); Baldric (boy #2/vampire/child); Balfour (boy #3/vampire/toddler); Babette (girl #1/bad apple/witch/toddler); Basil (boy #4/witch/toddler); Bartholomew (boy #5/witch/toddler).

We continue on from last time, and I find a toddler sleeping in the bathroom. I totally left a napping blanket in there on accident.

Babette and Baako are the Bad Apples. I figure the first born boy and girl would do it just to get it out of the way.

Babette: But I’m not hungry?

Of the four toddlers, two got IF’s and two did not. I did end up giving Baldric’s to Babette, but I did not reset ownership. Hopefully she realizes she can play with it.

Then it was birthday time anyway.

Van has a day off of work, so he is out collecting.

Baldric won’t get out of the way so Sapphire could paint.

They literally just added the dollhouse and books and made the nursery bigger and then the birthday pop up came. I do you have babies 1 day, toddlers 3 days, children 5 days, and teens 10 days. So, they are doing things slightly faster, but not too fast.

We interrupt…

Because Basil was running for the toilet, but failed at the door.

And then Balfour. So, in all honesty, Babette and Balfour are the only two I can recognize by name. One being a girl and the other being Van’s hair color. The others just look the same to me. Basil also does not have blue skin, but I can never rememeber his name.

Awww woohoo for loneliness while I was dealing with kids.

Then I saw Van puking in the lawn. Ugh.

Four beds and six kids mean that one gets a rocking chair and the other gets the couch.

No! You’re like 10.

Oh everyone leaves for school, including Babette and Baako (behind).

Way to aim high, kid.

After school kid check. Three came home, two stayed at school, and one had detention for sleeping in class.

He tried to befriend this boy that he had detention with (I assume), but he poofed onto his bike and left. Bartholomew did end up at home.

Baldric was able to attempt to get Baako to do his homework.

It didn’t work out that way though. Baldric and Balfour do their homework. Baako just goes to bed.

“Somebody” ditched work to play Smack-a-Gnome.

Money!

Ahh, so he popped and left work early.

Sapphire maxed his first skill. He also painted 10 small paintings (I can’t recall if he does it next or just finished) and takes that to where ever that goes and makes $12k doing that.

Le sigh.

I did find these pop ups several hours after the fact. I sent Van back to work and then had to deal with too many kids.

So, I never saw this. I have no clue when it happened or if it was the same one as before. I had 40 pop notifications that I had been ignoring.

The kids who were late coming home start their homework. Yet again, one of our Bad Apples said nope. Babette is also going to bed right now and you can see that Baako is still asleep from earlier.

You can’t ignore this one.

House update: They have windows and siding.

They now have a kitchen table.

I do have a mod that helps with calling people to a meal. It helps with the traffic jam of plates.

Van is off to an opportunity that brings in about $5k.

Aha – here is where Sapphire heads off with 10 paintings and brings in a shitload of money.

Balfour is screaming at himself.

Babette did find the borrowed IF.

Baako is doing dishes!

Bartholomew is sleeping in his new bed. All of them got the expensive beds, except one. They ran out of money at five beds.

One is Baldric is playing with toys.

Van and Sapphire are missing, so only the other four kids are there to celebrate our new twin teens.

Not surprised that he didn’t do well, but I am surprised that he got a great trait.

More money! They immediately bought one more child bed.

So, Sapphire went off to sue the false accusation (I usually have that turned off for obvious reasons).

He had to complete his opportunity first.

And lost the case and was immediately accused of another false accusation that we ignored.

Baldric eventually had is pop up.

And the new child area. The old one now has the easel and the new elixir station, which they bought previously and had in the living room.

Babette mops, Bartholomew (?) blocks the toilet to play with his IF, and Baldric fixes the broken shower.

I do have to leave off here. I am writing this up Sunday morning before leaving for the day, but I played this yesterday. So, on Saturday, I had to finish some clinical notes that are due Sunday. I’m in my second week of college and it’s medical terminology for five and a half weeks. It’s a good thing I have worked in the medical field for 20 years, or I’d be having a lot worse of a time. In the morning (Sunday), I have to go to Las Vegas, which is the nearest mall (92 miles away). I quit one job as a supervisor in a casino and my two week notice ran out this past Monday, which left me with a week long vacation. My first one in 18 months. Then on Monday, I start a new job, but luckily its vROI – virtual something or other for 7 days at home. Anyway, I had to buy a new wardrobe online and now I have to do some exchanges and returns at Macy’s tomorrow. I hope to get home early enough to get some play time in. We’ll see.
